Keeping up... |
| IFS is introducing
innovative products from SyAM Software to provide cross-platform monitoring capability with excellent user
interface and presentation at low cost. SyAM's ability to take
advantage of new improvements and innovations in chip technologies
broadens the scope for improved network health monitoring and
administration, and this makes our offering unique.
SyAM's
Power Management capabilities offer impressive recurring energy
cost savings for businesses - a compelling case for proactive power
management in today's energy cost conscious business world.
SyAM's Power Management qualifies for Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund
Incentives.
The Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF)
was created by the Legislature to address Connecticut's increasing
energy needs . and rising costs. CEEF offers residential, business, and
state and local government consumers rebates and incentives to implement
newer, more efficient technologies that conserve electricity. For
businesses, there are programs to maximize energy efficiency, lower
operating costs and improve productivity. |

Document Management Suite
Odin
COLD/ERM systems incorporate
extensive data mining, research tools and innovative features for
effective storage and on-demand retrieval of unstructured data - computer
generated output (reports, forms, statements, invoices, bills, etc.) Our
Advanced COLD/ERM Odin-SQL offers added features such as extensive user
audit and activity monitoring capability. Both the Odin COLD -
Standard Edition (OdinView) and Advanced Edition (Odin-SQL) also offer features and/or
options such as semi-automated daily processing (FEP and AutoLOAD,)
various security options and levels, standard and extended data
compression and forms overlay.
|

|
Odin-SQL is our advanced COLD/ERM solution which incorporates all of the user
functionality of our OdinView standard edition COLD/ERM
viewer plus administrative tools to limit (control) user functionality
while logging and monitoring critical user actions with regards to use
of company
data.
Odin-SQL tracks
all user functions and events, recording literally everything known about the
event. This information allows system administrators and auditors to determine
who is accessing key information, who is attempting to extract data from
reports to external files, who attempted to access secure reports but was
denied access, etc. In addition, Odin-SQL provides the capability to limit
Odin-SQL user functions by user id. Certain users may not be given the ability
to extract data or print data, or to perform other advanced functions or
operations with the data, depending on the user’s job responsibility, etc.
OdinView is a full- function data mining client for
Odin COLD systems. Robust data extraction and search functions are
ideal for customer service oriented research and ad-hoc report data
extraction. Powerful search capabilities. Report annotations - add
notes to reports and report pages for future reference. Date range
searches - search several reports for a range of dates in a few
simple keystrokes. Form Overlay Data Extraction and Data
Mining - Pull data from reports and export to other programs for
analysis and report creation. Enhanced Security (Optional -
additional cost) Provides report level security based on user id.
Easy administration and increased security for sensitive reports are
key reasons to implement the OdinView- Enhanced Security option.
Easy to use. High-performance. Numerous other system features and
capabilities.
&
OdinNet and OdinNet-SQL provide
browser-based viewing capability for the Odin COLD/ERM system.
Functionality is limited to basic view, search, print functions with the
more robust data extraction and export functionality left to Odin-SQL and
OdinView. Both OdinView or Odin-SQL and OdinNet can be deployed in
an organization to meet specific network capacity and user functional
requirements.
The Enhanced Data Compression option for Odin COLD
Systems produces up to an amazing 10 to 1 compression from the
original source file sizes. These stunning statistics immediately
translate into substantially increased storage capacity for any
existing Odin COLD system server, while providing added data
security as well. Users can expect to store years of data in the
Odin compressed data warehouse (server). The enhanced data
compression for Odin will also help to immediately reduce the
quantity of optical media consumed for permanent storage of Odin
files (reports, statements and other Odin documents.) For the case
where remote users will access Odin through a Wide-Area network
connection, the enhanced compression will have the effect of
allowing more pages of information to flow through the network
without any increase in network overhead.
Odin Forms Overlay option provides the ability to
display a computer generated document, such as a checking statement,
1099 statement, or invoice, complete with text and original form
attributes. With any “forms” application, the text portion of the
form or document is downloaded to Odin directly from the host
system. However, some documents are difficult or even impossible to
read without the associated form on which it is normally printed.
Odin Forms Overlay solves this problem by displaying the original
form image superimposed on the text which was downloaded from the
host application. The result is a form display on screen which looks
like the original printed version. The user can easily view the form
with all text placed neatly where it belongs on the form.
Administrators can now alert and advise users on
information access conditions with the new Odin-SQL Notifier
Subsystem option.
System Administrators
are able to setup specific notification triggers which will cause
administrator defined messages to appear for the user related to the
item selected or searched. This is ideal when an account number or a
group of account numbers require any special notification to a user
attempting to search or view related documents or report content;
such as with employee statements or accounts that may be the subject
of investigation/conversion, etc. Notifier can also block user
access to specific account statements such as bank employees,
management, or other sensitive documents which should not be made
available to the general user community. Notifier also works in
concert with Odin-SQL’s auditing and activity tracking functions to
track and log Notifier events as they occur. Notifier Triggers can
be virtually any text, account numbers, teller numbers, customer
names, etc.
Odin-SQL:Notifier brings greater administrative control and user
information concerning specific queries users perform in the system,
such as on accounts, names, or other “key text”. All of these
developments are part of the growing “Data Stewardship” role of the
Odin system in terms of collecting, storing, indexing and delivering
critical corporate and client data on demand to internal users while
managing and applying defined access privileges and keeping
traceability and usage information in detail for audit purposes.
